The Aviation department of Caparo Testing Technologies holds approvals for all methods of Non-destructive Testing and Inspection.

The methods include:

Caparo has around 20 Aerospace NDT inspectors throughout the UK and Europe, all inspectors are authorised in accordance with BS EN 4179:2009 which is the Standard required by the European and Federal (USA) Agencies. We have offices located at Reigate, Luton, Shannon, Brussels & Bordeaux. Caparo also has an Aerospace testing facility based in Dubai.

The Company is approved to carry out all methods of NDT by the following authorities:

  • The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
  • The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA - USA)
  • The Transport Canada Civil Aviation Authority (TCCA)

Apart from being accredited by the NQA in accordance with ISO 9001, we also hold approvals with the following organisations:

  • Cessna Citation (all NDT methods)
  • BAE Systems
  • Rolls-Royce
  • Honeywell
  • GKN
  • Westland
  • Airbus
  • Pratt & Whitney
  • Messier-Dowty

Our inspectors have a vast array of experience on a large number of aircraft types including:
