CTT offers a full range of mechanical testing from three sites in the UK. Services include tensile testing at ambient and elevated temperatures, impact testing to sub-zero temperatures (-196°C), hardness testing (Brinell, Vickers and Rockwell), bend testing etc in connection with assessment of welded samples, forged and cast products and general engineering materials.
Full workshop facilities at each site ensure a rapid and responsive service, tailored to the needs of the customer.
In addition to routine mechanical testing, metallurgical services such as microstructure evaluation, phase counting, cleanliness, microhardness, photomicrography etc are also offered from each UK site.
All sites are UKAS accredited.
